THEN AND NOW
By Linda Watling
FOOTNOTE
When I was born there were no:-Television, videos , cassette players, space rockets, automatiic washing machines, vacuum cleaners etc. Technology was a word we hadn't heard of. Until the Eighties new developments were greeted with wonder. Now there is nothing that seems impossible.
My opinion of multiple sclerosis.
It is horrible.
It means that I have to rely on others.
I cannot do the things I liked to do.
BUT It has shown me that John really cares. I am able to discover the best traits in other people. My grandchildren will grow into loving, caring adults. They are wonderful children already. It has shown me that very little is totally impossible.
On a lighter note multiple sclerosis means that I cannot:-
Bite my nails.
Pick my nose.
Scratch inappropriate places.
I had no intention of writing any more once the previous chapters were completed. However, various folk persuaded me to add a few more thoughts. I shall call these 'add ons'.
