The I.D.Number is a number allocated to that individual by
me |
The prefix letter is to indicate the source of that
information. |
The Births have been collated to show the marriage/s and
death, where known, of that individual. |
The Family Number is that of the fathers I.D.Number,or in
some cases the mothers I.D.Number. |
The best way to search for information is to find a known
individual, then go to 'Find' and insert the Family Number and this should then
give you the individual, siblings, father and mother. |
This can then be repeated for previous generations,by this
means a complete family history can be built up, the information copied and
pasted on to your own data page. |
This obviously works in reverse, find a individual, go to
'Find' insert the Identity Number and you should get the individual, spouse and
children. |
|
This does not work for females who change their name by
marriage. |
The information stops at 1900 due to a 100 year
rule, further information after 1900 can be had, but only by request. |
The marriage and death appendix is from the records of
St.Catherine/Myddleton House and may seem confusing as marriage and deaths are
on the main BMD, but not all Watling's were born in England and Wales. |
Not all Watling's were born Watling e.g.spouses,etc some of
the marriages may well be widows remarrying, etc.and there are still many
individuals not yet identified. |
